In 2012 SND-E asked 81 leading journalists and graphics artists to define Infographics. ‘What does Infographics mean to you?’ ‘How would you define it?’ ‘How would you describe the profession?’ were some of the questions they posed to guide them. The Penrose triangle or Penrose tribar, is an impossible object. It was first created by the artist Oscar Reutersvärd in 1934. The mathematician Roger Penrose independently devised and popularised it in the 1950s, describing it as impossibility in its purest form. Read more
